I have been reading on soil moisture and benefits of soil moisture, most articles show that soil moisture can be remote sensed. I dont know much about remote sensng so what do i need to do inorder to do remote sense soil moisture

Dear Karen
Thanks for this inquiry.
Soil moisture is an important parameter in recent and numerous environmental studies and It is very true that Soil moisture can be remotely sensed. Both optical, radar and thermal remote sensing has been used to achieve this goal.
You can read through various articles example file:///D:/space%20challenge/sensors-16-01308.pdf or even https://www.hindawi.com/journals/isrn/2013/424178/
RCMRD also offers courses on remote sensing application in soil moisture upon request from interested users and therefore you place your request through rcmrd@rcmrd.org.

Remote sensed soil moisture is typically very essential in determining plant type in any place and how the soil can be supplemented to sort it's growth
